Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FeedScholar, operated by EdsDev INC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use FeedScholar.

The service

FeedScholar curates new academic research papers matched to the interests you provide and delivers them to your inbox on a schedule you choose. We aggregate and rank publicly available research; we are not the publisher of the papers and do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in is passwordless: keep access to your email secure. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Subscriptions and payment

FeedScholar may offer free and paid plans. Where a paid plan applies, the price, billing period, and what it includes will be shown before you subscribe. Paid features remain available for the period you have paid for. We may change plans or pricing prospectively, with notice.

Cancellation

You can unsubscribe from emails or delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data from our systems.

Intellectual property

The FeedScholar name, site, and software are owned by EdsDev INC. Research papers and their metadata remain the property of their respective authors and publishers; rights to that content are governed by the original sources.

If you upload a PDF, you keep every right you have in it. You let FeedScholar store it and process its text only to answer your own questions, and you confirm that you have the right to use it this way. A copy of an open-access paper shown in FeedScholar keeps the licence its publisher or repository gave it.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the curated papers will meet your needs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdsDev INC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page, effective when posted. Continued use of the service means you accept the changes.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
